Violent Soho release 'Canada' music video

Violent Soho return with the video to the latest single taken from their 'Everything Is A-OK' album, 'Canada'.

A coming of age album defining the band on their own terms, 'Everything Is A-OK' is an album made not only for fans but also for Violent Soho themselves.

Vocalist and guitarist Luke Boerdam explained:

“It’s honest. It doesn’t claim to be anything it’s not: it’s apolitical, slacker, cynical, and trying to connect with people over a shared experience in pointing out society’s failures and the personal shit that follows.”

This combination of an honest depiction of society and a band being honest with themselves has worked tremendously throughout the album with 'Canada' equally as brilliant as the other tracks on there.

After 16 years in the industry, Violent Soho remain at the top of their game releasing songs that are easy to listen to and more importantly easy to fall in love with.

The video itself focuses on animated versions of the band, with real-life images providing the background. Full of plenty of references to Canadian superstars, landmarks, and culture, the 'Canada' video is light-hearted and enjoyable to watch.

My personal highlight is the appearance of Alanis Morissette in the clouds that I think everyone should appreciate! Check it out below!

'Everything Is A-OK' is out now via Pure Noise Records.
